The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has published its Treasury Bills programme for January–March 2020, indicating that it planned to raise about ₦847.4 billion in cash. The disclosure was made by the CBN in the Treasury Bill programme document released on its website, covering the first quarter of 2020. The N847.4 treasury bill issued for Q1 2019 represents a drop by N155.2 billion when compared to the over 1 trillion issued in Q4 2019. Nigeria’s Treasury Bill Rate data was reported at 10.940 % pa in Oct 2018. This records a decrease from the previous number of 11.000 % pa for Sep 2018. Nigeria’s Treasury Bill Rate data is updated monthly, averaging 10.910 % pa from Jan 2000 to Oct 2018, with 225 observations. The data reached an all-time high of 24.500 % pa in Mar 2002 and a record low of 1.040 % pa in Mar 2010.
