In an effort to meet increased investor demand, the exchange recently extended the trading hours for both FTSE MIB futures and FTSE MIB mini-futures by opening at 7:45am and closing at 10pm CET, which coincides with the close of the U.S. markets. From July 3rd 2017, IDEM, the Borsa Italiana derivatives market, has extended its trading hours. The change affects Futures and MiniFutures on FTSE MIB , the main Borsa Italiana index. Continuous trading is structured into a daytime session, which will end at 17:50, and an evening session, from 17:50 to 20:30. The FTSE 100 Index Futures are cash settled upon expiration. The FTSE 100 is a market-capitalisation weighted index of UK-listed blue chip companies. *In Exchange products eligible for Trading at Settlement ("TAS") or Trading at Marker ("TAM"), TAS and TAM orders may not be entered into CME Globex from the end of a TAS trading session until receipt of the security status message indicating that the group has transitioned to the pre-open state.
