The HBX Credential of Readiness (CORe) is an online program on business fundamentals developed by Harvard Business School. The program consists of a   Credential of Readiness (CORe) Master Business Essentials with Harvard Business School’s Online CORe Program. The online Credential of Readiness (CORe) program will prepare you to contribute to business discussions and decision-making, whether you're looking to advance your career, considering graduate school, or exploring new career paths.

Harvard's online M.B.A. alternative -- a graduate degree in management -- is offered through the Harvard Extension School. But HBX is experimenting with new pathways to degrees. The CORe program, for example, can be taken for credit and counted toward an undergraduate degree in the Extension School. Upon successful completion of CORe, undergraduate credit option participants will earn eight undergraduate credits from Harvard Extension School. HBS Online Courses CORe is a non-credit offering that begins new classes up to ten times each year.
