No doubt about it, MT4 is a little clunky for certain things and I appreciate that Tradingview (TV) is probably a superior charting package with way more bells and whistles, including better remote access etc. THIS CODE IS BASED FROM THE MT4 ZIGZAG INDICATOR THE ZIGZAG SETTINGS FOR THE MAIN ONE ON TRADINGVIEW DO NOT WORK THE SAME AS MT4 I HOPE U LOVE IT I have had tons of experience on the ZIGZAG indicator and thought this might help someone. So the candlesticks and the chart look a little bit different for the same pair at least on the 4H timeframe which I like to trade. For analysis I like Tradingview better than Metatrader so I normally do my analysis on Tradingview and place the trade on Metatrader Tradingview is used mostly in crypto-sphere by amateurs and is a kids tool compared to what MT4 can do and what tools you have to your disposal now with 10+ years of it being around. Now if you believe you can do well by naked trading (or with some manually put S/R lines and very basic TA tools) you're good with Tradingview. MT4 and MT5 are the most popular trading tool (enabling entering/closing trades), supported by 90%+ brokers worldwide. Hi, If you enter a Stochastic with inputs 9,3,3 in both tradingview and mt4 you get different results. Does anyone know how I can adjust MT4 to match tradingview ? Metatrader 4 is still a very solid charting and trading platform. My only complaint is that you cannot trade nano lots and the interface still has that 1999-Microsoft-Windows swagger going on.
